Our first trip to Yellowstone, we were fortunate enough to see our first grizzly bear soon after we entered the East Entrance. He was a smaller grizzly and the ranger pointed out that if my camera lens would zoom in enough, he was missing a chunk of his lip and a small piece of his nose. We watched him for over an hour before he retreated up the snowy mountainside.
